G-code converter using interface system for a STEP file (ISO 10303)

The STEP file is the “standard for exchange of product model data,” which usually used to geometric data in boundary representation (B-rep) between different computer-aided design (CAD) platforms. These can be fully utilized and integrated into a larger manufacturing organization, such as (CAM) environment computer numerical control (CNC) machining applications based on ISO 6983. 3D models 2D profiles were created CAD software saved files. structure was analyzed by comparing entities file. algorithm using hypertext preprocessor (PHP) programming language produced interface system convert files G-code format. blocks with profile features simulated CNC simulator PC-based open architecture (OAC) software. validated three-axis milling machine, result compared confirm profile. I2S demonstrates its ability interpret all generate tool paths G-code, allowing flow CAM environments shortening development cycles.
